Top Award for a Top Team

The awards, from the ‘schools food people’ acknowledge teams and individuals who make a real difference to school food and education catering.

The Quorn Professionals team picked up the award against some very strong competition for dedicating itself to “helping school caterers overcome the complexities of menu planning from a health and sustainability viewpoint whilst delivering great tasting dishes that pupils love. The team made significant changes this year to help school caterers adapt to the new normal during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Phil Thornborrow, Foodservice Director at Quorn said: “This year has been tough for the industry but we’re passionate about helping school caterers, so we’re thrilled to have that recognised with this award. A big thanks to LACA, and of course our incredibly hard-working Quorn Professionals team.”
