QUORN WINS ON SUSTAINABILITY AT FOOTPRINT AWARDS

Claire Roper, Head of Marketing and Foodservice Innovation at Quorn, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised in these awards. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Quorn and we are consistently working towards new goals to help consumers tackle climate change through more sustainable eating.

“Quorn mycoprotein, the super protein which is the core ingredient for all Quorn products, is nutritious and sustainable like no other protein, and can help operators to create delicious and inspiring meat free menus. We are continually supporting our customers in the foodservice sector to benefit from making small menu changes that can make a big difference to both our health and the health of the planet.”

The Footprint Awards has been widely recognised as the barometer for sustainability and responsibility within the foodservice sector for many years, and is an annual celebration of all those organisation that are doing their bit to protect the environment in the sector.

Charles Miers, Co-CEO and Founder of Footprint Media Group, added: “We are pleased Quorn were recognised in the Footprint Awards. The work that they do with their customers on sustainability and encouraging consumers to help the planet through small diet changes is inspiring, and this win is hugely deserved.”
